About Me and My Travel Blog

I am a traveler. I have been all over the United States and I have also traveled to countries all around the world. I speak Spanish and I often travel solo. I’m very interested in health and nature. I think technology is pretty cool too.

I was born and raised in the Midwest. I grew up in Indiana and lived there until after high school. I moved to Chicago and attended university there. I traveled a lot as a child, but as an adult I had a desire to see more of the world.

In my mid twenties, I finished university. With that, I was greeted with thousands of dollars in student loans. Reality came, slapped me in the face, and I had to get a job. I worked a variety of jobs; mostly office work and tutoring gigs. Eventually I even briefly attended medical school, but I dropped out due to a lack of interest in doing medical research that involved some corporate guy’s interests.

After becoming drained from that lifestyle, I saved up some money and began to travel whenever I could. Sadly, those trips only lasted for weeks at a time, but it allowed me to retain my sanity until I could finally escape for longer periods of time.

I traveled around the US. I visited various areas of the country. One of my major trips was to Los Angeles. I also went to Florida and Colorado. Having seen much of the US by that time, I began to look beyond the borders.

After traveling abroad to one country; Peru, I had a desire to see many others. I went to Colombia, Mexico, France, England, Spain, Argentina, Brazil, and many other countries.

Nowadays, I work for myself. I’m not rich by any means, but I have more control over what I can do. If I want to travel for a few months, I can save up money and do just that. I am very grateful to be able to do that and I hope to progress to a point where I don’t have to work for anyone anymore.

I hope my blog serves as a useful resource to others who aspire to travel. I know I had to learn many things on my own when I began to travel. With that, I look forward to writing and hearing from my readers!
